33 Weeks

I am now 33 weeks along - due May 1st. This pregnancy has been much different, even though it's another boy! Although 2 of my nieces and my father-in-law all still think it's a girl for some reason! I have been having some problems with feeling pressure and lots of Braxton-Hicks contractions. I had no pressure or Braxton-Hicks contractions with Logan. The past week I was having really bad dizzy spells, so my doctor put me on iron supplements which has really helped. I feel much more tired this time around too, but maybe that has something to do with the very active toddler I'm chasing around all day! I am at that point where I'm always uncomfortable - I sleep in a few hour increments because I'm getting up to go to the bathroom or to roll over because the side I'm laying on hurts because of all the extra weight. I know it could be much worse, but after having such an easy first pregnancy, this is hard for me! Sorry this is a complainer post, but just an update on my pregnancy. I HATE pictures of me right now - I feel like I look pretty good, until I see myself in a photo and then I can see all of the weight I've gained in my face and all the other areas too! Trent's been bugging me about pictures though, so maybe you'll get lucky and I'll post one soon.

But, posts without pictures are boring, so there's one of Logan. He was being a ghost last night and walking around with a blanket over his head. He tripped and fell against the corner of the entertainment center. We're lucky it didn't split open! It looks pretty good today, not as swollen, but this is what it looked like last night!

He was very brave and didn't cry for too long. He's a pretty tough little guy! It was so sad though, it breaks my heart when my baby (still my baby for at least another few weeks) gets hurt!

Christmas in March...

Logan got completely spoiled for Christmas, and it was so much fun! We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Breakfast with the Brough's, then Christmas day and night with the Wood's. Logan did not like Santa this year, but maybe next year! He is still young enough that he didn't quite understand it all, but I'm sure next year he'll get it a little more. I am also really excited to have our new little guy to celebrate with next year!

Winter 2010

We had an amazing winter! (I guess winter is not quite over, but I'm hoping it will be SOON) We went to the lights at Temple Square with the Wood's, and it was beautiful and spiritual as always! Well, as spiritual as you can get with 6 kids running around! They loved the nativity part though, and were actually quiet for it!

Next up, Zoo Lights with my mom. If you haven't done Zoo Lights, it's worth the money! They do an beautiful job and we thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Logan loves playing in the snow! It's not fun getting him all bundled, but once he's dressed and we're outside, he's super happy! He loves to be pulled in his sled and help Daddy shovel! After playing in the snow, Logan loves to snuggle in the blanket Grandma Brough made him and get warm!

I feel like this post has picture overload, so Christmas will have a post of its own!

Wow, long time...

Okay, so it's been a really long time. Sorry about that! I am going to work on getting better at posting, because this is a record for myself as well. I am a terrible journal keeper, so this is somewhat of a journal for me.

As most of you know already, we are having another boy! I am really excited and hope they'll be best buds! Sometimes I get nervous though as Logan is running around making a mess of my house - I'm going to have 2 of those! I can't wait to meet him, but more on my pregnancy later.

First, Halloween. Logan was the most adorable Lion this year and we were in Trenton for Halloween 2010. We went to Lee's, around to a few houses, then did the Trunk or Treat at Trenton Park. It was a lot of fun and it's always great to see all of my old hometown neighbors!!

Thanksgiving 2010 was with the Wood family. We had it at Frank and Sherry's gorgeous new cabin in Liberty. It's right next to the old cabin, but definitely upgraded! We had a lot of fun, but I never think to pull out the camera for dinner. Probably because all I can think of is the wonderful food and Michelle's delicious pies!! The boys brought a projector and screen up and hooked up the XBox. They had fun playing, and so did the kids! Logan joined right in, and while his controller may not have been plugged in, he had fun anyway!!
